INk THE SKY is an exhibition of audiovisual material of different formats and short duration, presented in a unique way: projected on the ceiling, while we enjoy them on comfortable cushions. INk THE SKY has its characteristic stamp in the original installation.

The last edition of this event was part of the LOOP video art festival. It took place from the 12th to the 22nd of May, when we presented the works of 26 artists. To see all of their work, please click on “Past Editions” and “T’hecho de Menos”.

The next INk THE SKY will be a special edition, and we will project works on the sails of a boat in the Port Vell Marina of Barcelona, on the 3rd and 4th of September 2010, both days with the same programme. The time will be from 8:30pm to 10:30 pm.

The them is “Elements”. Definition: 1-Each one of the four fundamental principals which were considered in old times: earth, water, air and fire. 2- A foundation, moving or part of something. 3- Physical or chemical principal of bodies. 4- Environment in which a live being lives and develops. 5- Etc.

We would like you to participate by sending something which can be projected (Traditional Animation, 2D, 3D, Stop Motion, Motion Graphics, Photography (presented as a slide-show), Short Movies, Video Art, Music Videos, Mini Documentaries), to share with everybody.**

The deadline to submit your material is the 30th of August 2010, at 5 pm.

Since this will be a special edition, you will need to confirm that you are coming, since there is limited seating.

* If there is bad weather, we will move the event to the following week end (10th and 11th of September)
